Duties and responsibilities:

MARKETING, SALES–

  • To lead, manage and develop a strong regional business development, marketing and sale team.
  • To set long term goals and objectives that contribute to the overall revenue growth of the Group
  • To create and present the annual marketing and sales plans, strategies and budget
  • To set up and track and drive the achievement of KPIs for the business development, marketing and sales teams and to ensure effective implementation of plans and marketing and sales campaigns
  • To contribute to product and business development initiatives to enhance the Group’s product range
  • To attend international exhibitions and other promotional events and campaigns.
  • To conduct market research and surveys, identify market needs, new market opportunities, and monitor industry developments
  • To ensure effective brand management including awareness, positive perceptions of the Group’s brand, and perceived values of the Group’s products vis-à-vis what is in the market.
  • To present reports on a regular and timely basis.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years in a senior/general management position on operations and international marketing in a manufacturing and export organisation.
  • A degree in marketing, supply chain management or related fields. An MBA in marketing or business would be an added advantage.
  • A dynamic, energetic self-starter with strong initiative and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrable record of successful marketing and business development initiatives
  • Ability to use technology and digital and social media to assist in the marketing process.
  • Be prepared to travel at short notice.

Years of Experience:

  • 10 years of which 5 should be in senior management
