Responsibilities

  • Ensure plant is running in safe, reliable and efficient manner;
  • Ensure products produce meet or exceed customer’s expectations with compliance of Food Safety Management System;
  • Perform daily plant walk about, employing look listen and feel (LLF) methodology, to identify potential issues;
  • Adjust and regulate process parameters to achieve optimum running condition;
  • Analyze and react to warning alarms;
  • Identify and inform abnormal operation conditions to immediate superior. Take appropriate actions to bring back the plant to its normal operating conditions;
  • Perform routine operations according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Perform equipment start-up/shutdowns;
  • Record plant operating parameters and activities; Generate operation reports;
  • Coordinate with customer operations team for day-to-day production related matters;
  • Monitor stock level and order replenishment matter;
  • Perform plant and equipment maintenance with support from maintenance team and external contractors/suppliers;
  • Ensure all compliance and legal requirements of certified ISO and Food Safety Management System are in place;
  • General housekeeping of site;
  • To undertake other related job as directed by immediate superior from time to time.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year working experience in the field of operations or maintenance of chemical, industrial gases, manufacturing, related engineering or similar industry;
  • Ability to work in demanding multi discipline projects;
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
