Job Description

Be responsible for all installations and equipment, including mechanical and electrical installations of the development under their care, identifying areas of concern to their reporting superior, including:

Power consumptions and electrical installations in LV rooms;
All MSBs, SSBs, DBs, FPs, AMF board, capacitor banks, and any other electrical panels;
HVAC systems;
Lifts and escalators;
Fire alarm and prevention systems and fire protection equipment;
BAS and ELV systems (e.g. CCTV, access cards, barrier gates, SMATV);
Emergency backup power supply system (genset);
DCW reticulation (added advantage);
Gas supply and distribution system (added advantage);
Gondola system (added advantage);
Plumbing and sewerage system (added advantage);

2. To perform necessary troubleshoots, repairs and rectification works, where possible, promptly and in a professional manner.

3. To provide support and assistance in building maintenance to the deployed team.

4. To maintain an efficient and effective preventive maintenance plan with proper system and schedule for all installations and equipment.

5. To oversee all activities related to electrical installations and ensure full compliance with Electricity Supply Act 1990 [Act 447], Electricity Regulations 1994, Energy Commission Act 2001 [Act 610] and any their amendments, where applicable.

6. To attend to all feedback and complaints lodged by occupants of the development under their care and follow up with them closely until the issue is addressed and resolved.

7. To perform any other job functions that may be assigned by the Building Manager, Portfolio Managers and/or management to support the overall objectives.

Job Requirement

Candidate must:

Possess a minimum of a SPM certificate, or Diploma in any related discipline.

Professional certification as a A4 Chargeman (PJ4) issued by the Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga).

Possess a minimum of one (1) year working experience in related field is required for this position.

Be computer literate (able to use Microsoft Office products e.g. Words, Excel, PowerPoint), and other building systems’ software.

Additional skills and knowledge in gas, electronics and/or plumbing systems will be an added advantage.

Resourceful, mobile, independent, team player, self-motivated, self-starter, and good interpersonal skills.

Committed and able to work with minimum supervision.

Able to respond to emergency calls as and when required, including after work hours, weekends and on public holidays.

Willing to work out of normal hours and off days, when required.
