The Assistant Accounting Executive supports the accounting department by performing a range of financial tasks, including managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial statements, and maintaining accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

  • Process invoices and payments to vendors.
  • Prepare and issue invoices to clients.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.

Financial Reporting:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Maintain general ledger entries and reconcile accounts.

Record Keeping:

  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • File and organize financial documents and reports.

Compliance and Audit:

  • Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Participate in the review of accounting processes and recommend improvements.

Communication:

  • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments regarding financial matters.
  • Respond to inquiries related to financial records and transactions.

Administrative Duties:

  • Provide administrative support to the accounting team, including scheduling meetings, maintaining records, and managing correspondence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in an accounting or finance role preferred. At least with minimum 3 years of working experience.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Autocount & UBS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment, with standard working hours.
  • Some overtime may be required during peak periods or to meet deadlines.
