Job Description:
- Prepare and update budgets for multiple store expansion projects and refurbishments.
- Conduct financial feasibility studies for potential projects, considering location, size, and market trends.
- Accurately measure and quantify all aspects of construction work from drawings and specifications.
- Prepare comprehensive Bills of Quantities in accordance with our standards and project requirements.
2. Cost Management:
- Monitor and control project costs within the budget.
- Conduct value engineering exercises to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
- Calculate and verify any additional works submission by contractor during construction
- Conduct site final measurement with contractor
- Prepare final account for based on site final measurement result
3. Project Management:
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms, project timelines, and industry regulations.
- Assess project risks and implement solution to mitigate potential issues.
- Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop cost plans.
- Attend project meetings to provide financial updates from time-to-time.
- Ensure that all documentation is complete and compliant with legal and regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the F&B retail, construction, or fit-out industries.
- Strong understanding of F&B stores construction processes, materials, and local building regulations.
- Strong understanding of M&E works for F&B industries
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under tight deadlines.
- Willing to travel outstation frequently
