We are seeking a highly skilled Level 3 Support Engineer with expertise in Java, Middleware technologies, and strong knowledge of backend/frontend technical operations. The ideal candidate will support the BAU technical operations, providing advanced troubleshooting and maintaining software systems across various platforms, including WebSphere, Tomcat, JBoss, and Oracle DB. Candidates with banking experience or knowledge of eCommerce, cards systems, or 3DS/Banking Loyalty Programs (BLP) are preferred. Key Responsibilities: Provide Level 3 technical support for both frontend and backend systems in BAU operations. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to J2EE application servers like WebSphere, Tomcat, JBoss, and Oracle DB. Perform complex tasks such as installation, upgrading, patching, and troubleshooting of WebSphere Application Servers. MQ management: Creation, deletion, and updating of IBM MQ instances. Apply WebSphere and OS patches, configure SSL certificates, and manage security. Collaborate with development teams to support Java, Shell scripts, JavaScript, Stored Procedures, SQL, XML, and HTML applications. Utilize frameworks such as Spring Boot and Hibernate for troubleshooting and enhancement tasks. Monitor and maintain the system's health using Splunk and other monitoring tools. Leverage version control and DevOps tools like Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines for application management and deployments. Work with deployment tools like Aldon Change Control Tool for version management and control. Use Control M for batch processing, with basic knowledge of batch job automation. Support the team in incident resolution using tools like JIRA and Remedy Workflow Applications. Ensure timely response and resolution of issues, adhering to strict SLAs and deadlines. Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and frameworks. Skills & Qualifications: Must-Have Technical Skills: Languages: Java, Shell Script, JavaScript, SQL, Stored Procedures, XML, HTML. Databases: Oracle DB, SQL. Application Servers: Apache Tomcat, WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, JBoss, J2EE Application Servers. Middleware Technologies: IBM MQ (creation, deletion, updating). Operating Systems: Experience with Solaris and Linux/UNIX environments. Frameworks: Spring Boot, Hibernate. Version Control Tools: Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, CICD pipelines. Monitoring Tools: Splunk, FTP. Good-to-Have Skills: Knowledge of Python. Experience with DevOps tools like Bitbucket and Jenkins. Knowledge of Control M batch processing. Experience in WebSphere patches and SSL certificate configurations. Familiarity with Aldon Change Control Tool or similar deployment tools. Knowledge of Cards system, eCommerce platforms, and 3DS or Banking Loyalty Programs.
