The Marketing Manager belongs to the Marketing Department which plays the engine role for the school’s development and growth by developing, building, and maintaining relationships with various institutions, including but not limited to feeder schools, agents, global education institutions, etc. from around the world.

The Position

  • Job Title: Marketing Manager
  • Summary: The Marketing Manager is responsible for the strategic development and execution of FCIS’ local and regional expansion plan through the expansion of our marketing outreaches in key growth markets and industries through partnerships with chambers, agents, companies, and feeder schools to ensure FCIS continues to attract (and convert) new joiner students for recruitment at FCIS across the world. He/she is accountable for recruiting quality agents and partners to support the overall student recruitment ambition goals, without compromising compliance with internal admissions criteria for FCIS’ distinctive programs and external regulatory requirements.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Director of Marketing and Communications to set and execute strategy for local and regional business expansion in student recruitment.
  • Builds market position by identifying, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships with Agents and other appropriate business entities.
  • Recruit new agents in selected countries/regions (who meet the school’s selection criteria) and deliver training sessions to the signed agents on the school’s value, program offerings, and other relevant information as per FCIS guidelines.
  • Collect and analyze market information and student feedback regularly, thereby analyzing the trends of competitors and market environment changes.
  • Monitor and analyze the agents’ performance and give a report regularly.
  • Participate in B2B fairs and other events explore marketing opportunities and make recommendations.
  • Conduct student surveys and gather all the required information about the agent from the students/parents before they start the class.
  • Complete other duties assigned by the Director of Marketing & Communications.
  • Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or business area.
  • Understand the K12 American education system well, and have more than 5 years of relevant experience in playing the study-abroad agent or U.S. school representative role.
  • Responsible, meticulous, and has a high level of integrity.
  • Strong sales skills and business acumen.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in English and Chinese is compulsory while knowing Korean is a plus.
  • Able to work independently and as a team.
  • Organized with good time management skills
  • Can travel frequently (domestic and international).
