Engineering Associate / Handyman – Mantanani Island Resort

The incumbent must have previous Hotel engineering exposure.

Responsibilities:-

• Responsible to assist the Manager for the overall Resort repair & maintenance operations.
• Responsible to respond and attend any defect repair.
• Responsible to perform variety of work in the maintenance and repair works.
• Responsible to perform maintenance repairs and services. To do daily technical inspection rounds and checks on the proper functioning of installations.
• Responsible to conduct corrective service and repair / restoration works where and when necessary.
• Responsible to update the maintenance work order.
• Responsible to perform maintenance activities in the Resort - plunging toilets, unclogging drains, repairing all types of hardware, electrical equipment including lamps, air conditioners / HVAC and AC ducts.
• Responsible to clean, lubricate, protect, and otherwise maintain all tools and equipment.
• Responsible to maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Responsible to maintain the Resort and related equipment in a safer and efficient manner.

Requirements:-

• At least 3 years(s) working experience in related field.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repairs, HVAC and carpentry.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English.
