CREDIT CONTROL EXECUTIVE

Job Description:

• Work closely with Sales and Finance team on collection updates, credit release and overdue account
• Conduct credit and financial background check on new customer application
• To review, analyze and solve customer credit collection problem
• Oversee daily collection contracts and proactively monitor outstanding account receivables in accordance with the company's collection process
• Actively monitor and document customers whose aging becomes severe, take appropriate action, including reminders or legal actions if necessary.
• Review policies, guidelines & procedures to further streamline the credit control processes
• Liase with lawyer for long outstanding and bad debtors
• Prepare all the relevant credits reports and analysis report for the Board of Directors and Credit Control Committee in a timely & accurate manner
• Attend Sales and Credit Control meetings
• Perform others duties and assignment assigned from time to time

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Finance/Accounting/Banking or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of working experience as a Credit Controller, a minimum 5 years in accounts receivable or similar extensive work experience.
• Preferably Senior Executive.
• Good communication skills with ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information.
• Good analytical skills, demonstrate knowledge and experience in reviewing and interpreting financial reports and data.
• Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills
