Location: Velvet Vanity, Elmina Lakeside Mall
Position Summary:
As a Retail Associate at Velvet Vanity, you will be the face of our brand, delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, manage store operations, and contribute to the overall success of our retail store.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Customer Service :
- Greet and assist customers warmly as they enter the store.
- Provide product information and recommendations based on customer needs and preferences.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional manner.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing personalized service.
Sales and Merchandising :
- Actively engage with customers to drive sales and meet sales targets.
- Assist with visual merchandising, ensuring that products are displayed attractively and in accordance with store guidelines.
- Replenish stock on the sales floor and ensure products are organized and well-presented.
- Promote and upsell products, including special promotions and loyalty programs.
Store Operations :
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including tidying up shelves, displays, and fitting rooms.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently, including processing transactions and handling cash.
- Monitor inventory levels and report stock shortages or issues to management.
- Assist in receiving, unpacking, and storing merchandise deliveries.
Team Collaboration :
- Work collaboratively with other retail associates and store management to achieve store goals and ensure a cohesive team environment.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay informed about new products, policies, and procedures.
Compliance and Safety :
- Follow all store policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
- Ensure that store security measures are observed to prevent theft and loss.
- Adhere to company dress code and grooming standards.
Administrative Tasks :
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and store reconciliation.
- Complete daily sales reports and other administrative tasks as required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: RM10.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
