The Senior Machine Learning Engineer position is a very rewarding role where every code that you string, every model you build, push out and implement instantly impacts millions of people across Southeast Asia. Reporting to our Lead Machine Learning Engineer, you will bring experiences in big data processing, data analytics, and machine learning to work on our massive production scale, and also experience an elegant products running on world-class technologies that bring our unique On-Demand Transport and Delivery experience to millions of people, anytime and anywhere.

The Critical Tasks You will Perform:

  • You will understand business problems and convert them to ML problem space. Work with the business teams to understand workflows and requirements, and analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies that can inform automation projects and provide insights to stakeholders.
  • You will collaborate with the Data Science and Software Engineering teams to identify areas of automation and optimization within our systems, with a focus on operational efficiency and reducing manual interventions.
  • You will design, develop, and implement automation solutions that improve the efficiency of different processes, using your expertise in data analysis, machine learning, and engineering knowledge.
  • You will lead automation projects aimed at complex system fine-tuning with real market change, applying data-driven techniques to bring growth in the automated system.
  • You will use machine learning techniques to improve automation resilience and improve system performance.
  • You will work with stakeholders to define project goals and deliverables, ensuring that the automation projects align with the goals.
