We're looking for a Procurement Specialist to manage daily Procurement operations, ensuring the best possible terms for Lotuss, compliance with Lotuss Purchasing Policy & Strategy, relevant laws and regulations; and supporting the Business in achieving its business strategies.

Job Description:-

  • Deliver and exceed all relevant hard targets and KPIs. Achieve/complete soft improvements target and initiatives assigned/responsible for.
  • Self-leadership in all tasks assigned, delivering the individual, team and departmental KPIs agreed, and contribute and support people and/or team members development within the department.
  • Lead and drive structured procurement and spread good practices within the BU on category responsibilities assigned, through consistent continuous improvement approaches and initiatives, engaging key Stakeholders in category strategies that will benefit and support Business objectives.
  • Lead, derive, implement and deliver cost optimization initiatives, promotes value creation and continuous improvement initiatives, introduce and apply Category Management principals, and establish local implementation plans in support of local BU needs.
  • Lead, monitor activities and deliver results involved in sourcing, supplier management and relevant governance ensuring each activity is being triggered and completed accordingly.
  • Monitor, measure and communicate to relevant Stakeholders the execution of category strategies agreed, progressive milestone results and any category/market development that may impact or benefit the BU.
  • Lead process of drafting, negotiating, reviewing of contractual terms, between Stakeholders, Business and Supplier.
  • Ensure contract compliance through rigorous monitoring, assessment, renewals to minimize business risk for organization.
  • Lead periodic reviews of contracts in place between Business and Suppliers, and provide resolution management when situation arises.
  • Continuously identify and establish needs of relevant processes, policies and local standards that are required to strengthen and improve cross functional processes with all other Stakeholders at BU/Regional level.
  • Ensure good and consistent implementation of company values, business principals, policies and best practices through procurement processes and be focal point for cross functions to develop, engage and implement such matters.
  • Participate and represents the Head of Procurement in management meetings or meetings with internal & external stakeholders as and when required.

Job requirements:-

  • Minimum 5 years proven track record of strong achievement in Indirect Material procurement.
  • Has comprehensive skill sets in structured procurement, fluent with end-to-end supply chain management, and sound understanding of best procurement practices in Malaysia.
  • Ability to cope well with ambiguity and achieves results environment where multiple and sometimes conflicting interest are at play.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, building relationships, influencing and appropriating people at all levels both internally and externally.
  • Ability to analyse and prioritise tasks and challenges, quick to identify resources and/or delegate for execution.
  • Ability to motivate and lead team in daily routine and creative problem solving.
  • Articulate and a good communicator, understand and is able to be tactful, diplomatic and/or direct when required.
  • Ability to uptake poor performances professionally and insert creative solutions as remedy and cure.
