AUDIOLOGIST

As an Audiologist at Ergocare Occupational Health Consultancy (a subdivision of our healthcare), you will conduct comprehensive audiometric evaluations to assess and diagnose hearing disorders in individuals of all ages. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and treat various types of hearing loss, from mild to severe, in a diverse patient population. Working under the occupational health division, you will be responsible for conducting audiometry tests and providing expert recommendations to ensure the optimal health and well-being of our clients

Working Conditions

Mobile Audiometry: Most of the work will be conducted on-site at client locations, requiring the audiologist to travel with company equipment.

Clinic Work: Some audiometry sessions may be conducted at the company clinic in Perai.

Irregular Hours: Work hours may vary depending on client needs and schedules, potentially including weekends and evenings. Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and work environments.
Possession of a valid lorry license (required).

Work environments may vary, including clinics, companies, and workplaces.

Handling Delicate Equipment: The audiologist will be responsible for handling and maintaining sensitive audiometric equipment.

Administrative Tasks: Accurately maintain client records, schedule appointments, and manage administrative tasks. Compile and prepare audiometry reports for clients

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Audiology or a related field.
• Certification in Audiology from a recognized professional body.
• Experience in conducting audiometric tests and fitting hearing aids.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and their families.
• Knowledge of audiology equipment and software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
