  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Description
System Engineer position is the technical interface between IT departments, the business partners and all other company departments. This candidate is expected to have complete product knowledge, technical ability, and an in-depth knowledge of Cisco Routers, Cisco Meraki and Cisco Switches for design and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities
1. Maintains and supports a large LAN/ WAN environment of over 1000 locations within Malaysia and abroad.
2. Supports day-to-day operations that include routing, switching and hardware replacement.
3. Works closely with the Network Operations Centre to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.
4. Performs day-to-day network administration tasks including network equipment installation, configuration, upgrades, testing, and troubleshooting.
5. Provides LAN/ WAN support for initiatives that revolve around our optical backbone.
6. Maintains and supports network technologies that sustain data centre and branches operations.
7. Troubleshoots network performance issues and recommending appropriate solutions.
8. Provides periodic network traffic and security status reporting.
9. Contributes to root cause analysis reports for network outages.
10. Prepares network diagrams, floor plans, and schematics using Visio where required.
11. Responds to emergency calls in the evenings and on weekends regarding WAN / LAN outages.
12. Perform 24x7 standby (on rotation) and participate in Sev1 incidents.
13. Design and deploy functional networks (LAN and WLAN) involving Datacentres, Campus offices etc around Cisco Technologies.
14. Configure and install Cisco Nexus Switches, Cisco WLC and other Cisco network devices. This includes routing via VMWare NSX products.
Technical Requirements
1. Min. 2+ years of related working experience in Cisco Routing & Switching.
Min. 2+ years of related working experience with F5 (LTM, LC and GTM)
Min. 2+years of related working experience with Checkpoint and Palo Alto and Bluecoat Proxy Proxy Servers)
Design and implement functional F5 solutions.
Design and implement functional Firewall (Physical and VMWare NSX) solutions.
2. Has good knowledge in Cisco SDWAN (preferably)
3. Industry-related experience as a WAN Network Engineer
4. Professional Cisco certification (Min. CCNP Routing & Switching or equivalent)
Please source for Level 2 Engineer.

The candidate must have in-depth technical hands-on knowledge in ANY of the items below:

F5 LTM, LC and GTM
Cisco Datacentre – Cisco ACI, Cisco Nexus, Cisco OTV, Cisco VDC
Checkpoint Firewall and Palo Alto Firewall
Ingenico POS NAC.
Skills Required: Cisco Routing & Switching, Cisco SDWAN, Professional Cisco certification (Min. CCNP Routing & Switching or equivalent),Cisco Routing & Switching, WAN Network Engineer, Checkpoint and Palo Alto and Bluecoat Proxy /Symantec ProxySG Servers), CCSE certification, Wireshark, Firewall (Physical and VMWare NSX),F5 (LTM, LC and GTM), iRules – function within F5 to modify, code, troubleshoot issues, F5 certification, Wireshark, Cisco ACI and/or Cisco Nexus Switches e.g. OTV, VPC, VDC, CNNP Certification, Wireshark, LAN, WAN, VMWare NSX,Cisco Nexus Switches, Cisco WLC,linix,unix,rhel,BMC, Truesight,patrol
