Job Overview:

As a Landscape Supervisor at our resort, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the aesthetic appeal of our outdoor spaces. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the planning, execution, and maintenance of landscaping projects within the resort premises. You will lead a team of landscapers, ensuring that the grounds are visually stunning, well-maintained, and contribute to an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities:

1.Team Leadership:

Supervise and lead a team of landscapers, providing guidance, training, and support.
Coordinate daily activities, assign tasks, and ensure the team is working efficiently.

2.Project Planning and Execution:

Develop and implement landscaping plans that align with the resort's design and aesthetic standards.
Oversee the installation of plants, trees, hardscapes, and other outdoor elements.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
3.Maintenance and Upkeep:

Conduct regular inspections of the resort grounds to identify maintenance needs.
Develop and implement a preventative maintenance schedule for landscaping features.
Supervise the irrigation system, pest control, and other maintenance tasks.
4.Budget Management:

Assist in the development of the landscaping budget.
Monitor expenses, negotiate with suppliers, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
5.Plant and Material Knowledge:

Stay informed about local plant varieties, soil conditions, and climate considerations.
Collaborate with horticulturists and suppliers to source high-quality plants and materials.
6.Guest Interaction:

Interact with guests, addressing inquiries, and providing information about the resort's landscaping features.
Seek feedback from guests to continually enhance the visual appeal of outdoor spaces.
7.Environmental Sustainability:

Implement eco-friendly and sustainable landscaping practices.
Explore and recommend environmentally conscious initiatives for the resort's outdoor areas.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in landscaping, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of plants, horticulture, and landscaping techniques.
Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Budget management experience.
Understanding of environmental sustainability principles.
Effective communication skills and guest-oriented approach.

60 acre
supervising daily maintenance landscape (softscape and hardscape)
Basic plan nursery background is a must.
Salary based on experience
Relevant certifications in landscaping or horticulture are a plus.

Working Conditions:

Flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
Physical ability to lift and carry landscaping equipment and materials.
