Medical Assistant

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Involves in the medical consultation and treatment in the sickbay. • Ordering of drugs/ inventory of medical equipment and first aid box. • MC verification by sickbay. • Organize health talks/ 1st aid training/ health promotion/hostel leader meeting. • Actively monitors and reports diseases seen during medical consultation to management if necessary. • To provide and conduct the medical treatment to the employees • Day to day operating of in-plant sick-bay. • Assist patient to hospital during emergency. • To assess patient health problems and needs, develop & implement nursing care for minor ailments and dressing for minor injuries. • Provide direct care, including emergency treatment or occupational injuries and illness. • Administer first aid medical emergency or work related injuries. • Ensure first aid boxes have fulfilled standard requirement. • Distribute medical equipment of first aid boxes as per request by department. • Administer medication or injection. • To keep sickbay well equipped, clean and organized. • List the stock for order and monitor in-hand stock updates. • To accept and accomplish task given by adhering to timeline/deadline. • Any other tasks that may be assigned by superior. REQUIREMENTS Education: • Minimum diploma or any equivalent. Work Experience: • Minimum 2 years of working experience in specific field and have a practicing license. • Fresh graduate or retired Medical Assistant encouraged to apply. • Willing to work on shift. • Work location : Kinta Highlands, Perak • Technical and Professional Knowledge: • Good record keeping. • Excellent in Microsoft Office application. • Ability to obtain accurate patient history, chart and documentation.
