Responsibilities · Technical expertise: A strong understanding of the technical aspects of the product or solution being sold, as well as the ability to quickly learn new technical concepts. · Problem-solving skills: Sales engineers should be able to identify customer problems and propose solutions that meet their technical requirements. Providing technical support to the customer throughout the sales process, answering technical questions and addressing any concerns or issues that arise. · Communication skills: Sales engineers must be able to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and concise manner. · Customer-focused mindset: Sales engineers should have a customer-focused mindset and be able to understand and anticipate customer needs. Building and maintaining relationships with customers and other stakeholders in the sales process. · Work together with all department: - Drafting/Engineer: Ensure completely convey design concept to drafting department and confirm drawings are accurate and meet all necessary requirement. - Production: Provide technical support to fabrication team. Work closely with production team to develop and manage production schedules and budgets. - Purchasing: Share BQ/costing to purchasing team, ensure all purchase item spent at minimal cost. - Account: Provide delivery date to account department for DO & Invoice preparation.
