Qualifications & experience
Experience. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience using AutoCAD in drafting for construction, engineering, or architectural projects. Education. Relevant certification or diploma in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field. Technical Skills. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of additional design software like Revit or SolidWorks is an advantage. Attention to Detail. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in drafting, with the ability to spot and resolve issues before they impact the project. Communication Skills. Good verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, and project managers. Problem-Solving Abilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret designs and resolve drafting challenges. Tasks & responsibilities
Technical Drawing Creation. Prepare detailed technical drawings, plans, and layouts for architectural, mechanical, or electrical projects using AutoCAD and other design software. Design Collaboration. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure that drawings are accurate and align with project specifications. Revisions and Updates. Revise and update drawings as required, incorporating changes from clients, engineers, or field teams while maintaining version control. Compliance with Standards. Ensure that all drawings adhere to industry standards, regulations, and project-specific guidelines, with a strong focus on accuracy and quality. Documentation and Filing. Maintain organized documentation of all drawings and project-related files, ensuring easy access and reference for project teams. Project Coordination. Work closely with other team members to meet project deadlines, track progress, and ensure smooth coordination across all stages of design and construction. Benefits:
