Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Halal Policy is understood and implemented
  • Assist & monitor the relevant certification and documentation such as HALAL, GMP and HACCP.
  • Register new products and apply Halal Certificate according to the requirements of JAKIM regulation.
  • Upkeep the MY E-Halal and keep record to track Halal status of all the ingredients and food products certification.
  • Conduct quality inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company specifications.
  • Revising and updating Halal Assurance System (HAS) as per JAKIM requirements and handling Jakim Audit independently.
  • To conduct Internal Halal Audit & Internal Halal Awareness Training for new staff
  • Monitoring compliance and non-conformity issues in food handling process & production line.
  • Coordinate and maintain the Halal certification process, including documentation and audits
  • Other add-hoc task given by superior

Requirements:

  • MUST be Certified Halal Executives which certified by JAKIM.
  • Candidate must possess at least Degree in Food Science and Technology or any relevant food science background
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Able to work under pressure to keep up with tight deadlines
  • At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field
