Strategic Purchasing Executive

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the research and evaluate potential suppliers and develop new vendors in Asia accordance to company's SOP. Will focus on wire, PCBAs and support plastics.
• Involve in development purchasing strategic.
• Negotiate and coordinate with supplier and cross functional department for best possible purchase
• Source and procure materials or equipment according to project requirements.
• Keep abreast of market or price situation and conduct regular price comparison.
• Preparing reports and analysis in timely manner.
• Liase with Purchasing manager for any improvement to the purchasing process/flow/system to enhance the work efficiency and effectiveness.
• Perform other duties assigned by manager.

Requirements:

• Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Purchasing/Supply Chain/ any related field.
• At least 10 years of working experience in this related field.
• Experienced with the IATF and VDA are advantage.
• This position is required to work from home.
• Required regular travel.
• Meticulous, analytical, self motivated and results oriented.
• Ability to work independently and have excellent negotiation skills.
• Good computer skills especially in Microsoft Office Applications.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
