  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  2. Click. then Settings.
  3. Click Privacy and Security.
  4. Click Site settings.
  5. Click JavaScript.

Job Description

Draft Technicians are responsible for producing accurate residential and commercial iGUIDE floorplans using our client’s proprietary computer aided Draft software. As part of a larger drafting team, each individual is responsible for developing, preparing, reviewing, and revising floorplan drawings to comply with the company’s Draft Standards. These floorplans are subsequently reviewed by the quality assurance team before being published in the form of a virtual 3D tour.

Empowering You: Unveiling Your Responsibilities

  • Create iGUIDE Floor Plans using Planitar’s proprietary software, Draft, for Residential, Commercial & Insurance Restoration Clients.
  • Create ESX Floor Plan Sketches using Verisk’s construction estimating software, Xactimate, for Insurance Restoration Claims Clients.
  • Create DWG Floor Plans using Autodesk’s software, Revit, for Architecture, Construction & Engineering Clients.
  • Address and report issues that may surface during production to the iGUIDE Drafting Team Leader.
  • Participate in cross-functional, continuous improvement initiatives as the opportunity presents itself.
  • Complete other tasks outside of drafting floor plans such as AI annotations, marketing research, information gathering, case studies, etc.

Expertise in Every Detail: Unveiling Your Skills

  • Obtain or currently work towards a degree or diploma in architectural engineering or interior design.
  • Have a minimum of 1-3 years’ experience using BIM software such as Revit.
  • Possess experience in 3D architectural technology.
  • Use CAD tools such as AutoCAD.
  • Work in residential and/or commercial construction/design.
  • Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite or Google Workspace.
  • Meet tight and changing deadlines.
  • Exhibit advanced computer navigation skills.
  • Demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Utilize exceptional multi-tasking and time management techniques.
  • Be detail-oriented and well-organized.
  • Show proactive and solutions-driven behavior.
