Job Description:

  • Liaising with clients, Companies Commission of Malaysia (“CCM”) , Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Malaysia”), Securities Commission and all other relevant authorities in connection with company secretarial matters;
  • To oversee all aspect of regulatory compliance for the Company, ensuring adherence to the Companies Act, Bursa Malaysia listing requirements, Securities Commission guidelines, relevant laws and other applicable regulations;
  • Coordinate board meetings, prepare agendas, collate and distribute meeting materials, record minutes in compliance with statutory requirements and ensure timely follow-up on action items;
  • Ensure timely filing of statutory returns by the CCM and announcements to Bursa Malaysia;
  • Maintaining and updating the statutory books and records in compliance with the Companies Act, 2016 and any other regulatory requirements such as BursaMalaysia listing requirements, etc; and
  • Preparation of Directors' and Members' Resolution.

Requirements:

  • Possess ICSA qualification or ICSA finalist;
  • Experience in similar role, preferably as a Company Secretary or Assistant Company Secretary with in-depth knowledge of Companies Act, listing requirements and relevant experience in Sustainability practices;
  • At least3 years relevant working experience;
  • At least 4-5 years relevant working experience can be consider for Assistant Manager and Manager position;
  • Experience in handling public-listed companies will be added advantage;
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet datelines;
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact confidently with senior management, board members and external stakeholders in business environment;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to provide strategic advice and guidance in compliance matters;
  • Demonstrate integrity and ethical conduct in handling sensitive and confidential information;
  • Strong command of the English language;
  • Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel application; and
  • Proactive, meticulous and able to work independently, render relevant corporate secretarial support to the company's clients and meet deadlines.
