Job Description
- Prepare and verify shipping documents to liaise with shipping agent;
- Oversee the direct import process from suppliers, ensuring that all shipments are received in accordance with company policies and legal requirements;
- Collaborate with suppliers to schedule shipments and address any potential issues related to delivery timelines;
- Communicate proactively with internal departments (such as Finance Department) to ensure the documents are provided on time and align with shipping schedule;
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and proper records filing;
- Source and evaluate suppliers, establish strong vendor relationships;
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the shipping and logistics function to enhance efficiency of process;
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and improve operational performance;
- Any other duties assigned from time to time by the superior.
Job Requirement
- STPM or Diploma/Degree in Logistics or any related field;
- 2-3 years working experience in shipping line will be an added advantage;
- Computer literate;
- Excellent time management skills;
- Self motivated and possess good interpersonal skills;
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
