Summary

The position is integral part of the procurement/supply chain function in the achievement of operational subjective with a strong solid background in supply chain management and purchasing. The key role is leading the company forward in securing quality supplier of material, coordinate with sales and shipping team. Also the contribution towards the shaping of the business through the next phase of plant growth.

Responsibilities: -

1. Able to handle independently trade enquiries with suppliers and buyers, and co-ordinate with freight forwarders, shipping companies & warehouse personnel.

2. Getting goods for best price and value.

3. Negotiating and managing contracts with supplier.

4. Identify the new supplier, agree terms and negotiate supply agreements where appropriate.

5. Collect and prepare sample from supplier and arrange deliver to customer.

6. Planning the best way to get goods from supplier and properly coordinate with shipping team.

7. Coordinating and supporting shipping/logistic team for shipping documentation.

8. Continue improving purchasing method and improve supply chain network.

9. Cutting any waste and unnecessary cost to create stream line process.

Requirements: -

1. Candidate must possess at least Graduate Diploma/ Degree in others or equivalent.

2. At least 2 Years(s) of working experience in related field.

3. Planning and organisational skills.

4. Self-directed, highly organised, detail oriented and independent in personality.

5. Customer service oriented.

6. Effectively English as need to liaise with international clients.

7. Good PC skills and telephone etiquette.

8. Problem solving ability and willing to travel if required.
