IT Senior Executive (Infrastructure)

Responsibilities:

• Work with leadership to formulate the tactical plan to meet the strategic direction of Infrastructure team.
• Develop shared knowledge of leveraged tools on the Infrastructure team, eliminating single points of knowledge and dependencies.
• Work with IT management to establish and support technical policies and procedures
• Installs, configures and maintains approved telecom/network hardware and software components.
• Provides support for connectivity or related network/communication issues for the user
• Oversee daily network operations, including maintenance and service requests.
• Handle site safety, security, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.
• Monitor firewall logs and alerts for security threats.
• Maintains inventory record and database containing information on licenses, warranties and service agreements for company’s IT hardware
• Responsible for administrative duties within the IT procurement and inventory management function
• Maintains location specific facility systems which include data centre equipment, CCTV and electronic security access.
• Managing video conference device which include troubleshooting if necessary.

Requirements:

• Degree in IT, Computer Science or its equivalent
• Minimum 4 years of experience in systems administration or equivalent technical roles in IT industry
• Proficient in LAN, WAN and Firewall technologies
• Good communication skills.
• Strong understanding of task, project and responsibilities ownership
• Willing to work off-hours in an on-call schedule
• Analytical and problem solving skills to troubleshoot system problems
