Shipping Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Shipping Coordination: Coordinate and arrange shipments for import and export of goods. Prepare shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs declarations. Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs agents to ensure smooth transport and delivery.

Customs Clearance: Ensure all required documentation for customs clearance is accurate and submitted on time. Stay updated on customs regulations and tariffs and ensure compliance with all legal requirements. Handle duty exemptions and coordinate with customs agents.

Logistics Management: Plan, schedule, and track the movement of goods to ensure timely delivery. Coordinate with warehouse teams for receiving and dispatching goods.

Inventory and Warehouse Control: Work closely with the warehouse to ensure accurate stock levels. Manage inventory reports and ensure goods are labeled correctly for easy identification and tracking.

Problem Resolution: Handle and resolve any issues that arise during the shipment process, such as delays, damaged goods, or incorrect deliveries. Ensure that customer satisfaction is maintained by providing updates and handling inquiries regarding shipment status
