Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Health Consultations:
• Provide professional health consultations to walk-in customers, focusing on nutritional advice and product recommendations for managing chronic conditions.
2. Diagnostic Testing and Health Monitoring:
• Utilize diagnostic tools available (e.g., BP monitors, glucose meters, uric acid tests, body composition analyzers) to assess customer health.
• Interpret diagnostic results and provide personalized dietary and lifestyle recommendations.
3. Product Recommendations:
• Recommend relevant health products and supplements based on customer health conditions and diagnostic results.
• Educate customers on how to use the recommended products for maximum health benefits.
4. Follow-Up Consultations:
• Schedule and conduct follow-up consultations for customers with chronic health conditions, tracking their health improvements and adjusting recommendations as needed.
5. Customer Relationship Management:
• Record all consultations in the system, including health data, product recommendations, and follow-up details.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions.
• Assist in educating pharmacy staff on basic health conditions and product recommendations to support their role in serving customers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field.Registered Dietitian with the Malaysian Dietitians’ Association (or equivalent qualification).
- Registered Dietitian with the Malaysian Dietitians’ Association (or equivalent qualification).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in providing nutritional advice or working in a healthcare setting.
- Experience with chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, gout) is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of nutrition, dietetics, and chronic disease management.
- Ability to explain complex health concepts in simple terms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and interpreting health data.
- Passionate about improving customer health and well-being.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Customer-centric approach to consultations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Proficiency in listening, speaking and writing in Chinese
Working Conditions:
Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (including a 1-hour lunch break).
Work Days: 5 days per week (including weekends). Off days will fall on weekdays (e.g., Monday-Thursday), and will be assigned by the management.
