The Green Finance Specialist will provide expertise on sustainable finance practices, assessing the eligibility of the project for green financing and developing financial models that align with green investment criteria. You will focus on identifying green funding opportunities and ensuring compliance with international green finance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the project's alignment with green finance principles (e.g., renewable energy, energy efficiency).
  • Identify and assess potential green financing options, including green bonds and loans.
  • Develop financial models to assess project returns and environmental benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with green finance regulations and standards (e.g., EU Taxonomy, Climate Bonds Initiative).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Sustainability.
  • Proven experience in green financing, impact investing, or ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) assessments.
  • Strong financial modeling skills with a focus on sustainable investments.
  • Knowledge of international green finance standards and regulations.
