The Assistant Sales & Marketing Manager will assist in developing and implementing sales strategies, marketing campaigns, and promotional activities to enhance the resort’s visibility and increase occupancy rates, event bookings, and overall revenue. The role requires working closely with the Sales & Marketing team, supporting the Manager, and liaising with clients, corporate accounts, and other key stakeholders. Able to converse in Mandarin is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Management:

  • Assist in identifying new business opportunities and maintaining existing client relationships.
  • Participate in sales calls, meetings, and presentations to promote the resort’s services.
  • Assist in preparing proposals and contracts for prospective clients, including corporate accounts, event organizers, and travel agents.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
  • Collaborate with the team to manage leads, inquiries, and bookings efficiently.

Marketing & Promotion:

  • Support the creation and execution of marketing campaigns for various target markets, including online and offline strategies.
  • Assist in managing social media accounts, updating content, and engaging with the audience.
  • Assist in the creation of promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, and email newsletters.
  • Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to improve marketing strategies.
  • Work with external vendors for digital marketing, graphic design, and public relations, if necessary.

Event Management:

  • Assist in planning and coordinating events, such as conferences, weddings, corporate retreats, and golf tournaments & rooms
  • Ensure smooth communication and coordination between clients and the resort’s operations teams (F&B, banquets, and other departments).
  • Oversee event logistics and ensure client expectations are met during events.

Client Relations:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Act as a point of contact for client inquiries and resolve any issues related to sales, bookings, or event execution.
  • Ensure excellent customer service is provided before, during, and after events and stays.

Team Support:

  • Support the Sales & Marketing Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the team.
  • Train and mentor junior staff, ensuring that team members are aligned with the company’s objectives.
  • Assist in preparing monthly sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for management review.

Budget & Financial Management:

  • Assist in managing the department’s budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness in marketing campaigns and sales activities.
  • Work closely with the finance team to track expenditures and ensure they are within budgetary limits.
