Software Engineer – Backend

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer specializing in NestJS, with proficiency in Next.js being a plus. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of both monolithic and microservices architectures. Additionally, prior experience with Redis and relational databases is essential, and familiarity with AWS is considered a plus. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, possesses strong problem-solving skills, and thrives in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using NestJS within both monolithic and microservices architectures.
• Utilize Redis for caching and session management to improve application performance.
• Develop and maintain data storage solutions using relational databases.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with backend logic, with proficiency in Next.js being a plus.
• Implement security best practices and ensure data protection measures are in place.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Backend or Full Stack Engineer specializing in NestJS. Proficiency in Next.js is a plus.
• Solid understanding of both monolithic and microservices architectures.
• Experience with Redis for caching and session management. Strong understanding of relational database technologies.
• Familiarity with AWS is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
