1. Drive the supply chain
- Develop and implement the distribution network strategy for the market
- Develop operational excellence in Distribution & Fulfillment Management
- Develop new distribution services in close collaboration with B2C and B2B and Marketing
- Develop and implement the Supply and Demand plan by applying best practices, improving processes, analyzing sales history, and forecast data including stock coverage.
- Liaise with B2C and B2B and Marketing to ensure that all necessary launch or phase-out information has been correctly considered in the supply and demand plan
- Lead the Monthly Business Planning (MBP) meeting and implement the outcome
- Lead the MBP process, DPA and BIAS learning and ensure continuous improvement process with commercials teams.
- Ensure SKU reduction programmes being performed
- Ensure knowledge transfer on planning concept and method to the Commercial Teams, to enable them to better understand what is required from them.
2. Third Party Management
- Effectively manage Third Party Providers and Service Level Agreements by monitoring interactions and comparing actual performance with pre-defined expectations, identifying potential problems, and determining appropriate actions to mitigate risks and ensure quality
- Capitalize on international networks to achieve specific business objectives within budget
- Monitor ways of working of Third Parties to ensure that it is in line with the Nespresso brand purpose and in compliance with local regulations and Nestlé standards and policies
- Drive improvement and innovation development opportunities in the services delivered by Third Party Providers, and collaborate effectively with Third Party Providers to realize said improvement or innovation
- Provide input to procurement based on expertise and requirements prior to signing contracts and Service Level Agreements with Third Parties
3. Management Team Responsibilities
- Drive the organization’s business results by making tactical and operational decisions by building the department in a sustainable way
- Define and drive the right initiatives to achieve business results
- Support the Head of Department in making optimal investments and decisions in the OP process for both CAPEX and OPEX
- Manage and monitor the budget within the subdepartment
- Drive improvements and efficiencies in the organization by collaborating with other departments
- Lead the function, people management.
4. People & Performance Management
- Attract and retain talent, develop the personal effectiveness of employees by regular coaching and implementation of learning activities
- Build a strong team where team members collaborate effectively and understand their shared goals and purpose
- Set individual performance goals that provide a clear line of sight to organizational priorities and monitor progress towards achievement of goals by use of the PDP methodology
- Lead by example in terms of NLF behaviors and safety leadership.
5. HQ & Market Reporting
- Ensure on-time report submission i.e. DPA report, OOS report, MBP participation KPI etc.,
- Manage slow-moving inventory, food products aging report on a market level
Requirement
- At least 10 years of end-to-end Supply Chain Management experience.
- Experience: Working experience in a similar capacity with an International Company would be an advantage (Demand and Supply Planning, Inter-market Supply Planning).
- Education: MSc/MA level Supply Chain Management
- Professional experience: 3-5 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management and 5-8 years’ experience in DSP, Warehousing and Last-mile logistics with a quality consumer centric mindset.
- Experienced people manager is a must.
- Experienced and Certified in LEAN Six Sigma methodology
- Experience in 3rd Party Management / 3PL
- Experience in managing complex projects
