As an Account Management Specialist, you will report into the Manager of Retail and New Business with hybrid working in Malaysia. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Account Manager to join our GrabMart team. This role essentially involves establishing and nurturing strong business relationships with our existing and prospective top merchants to spur growth in GrabMart.

Critical Tasks you will perform:

  • Merchant Relationship Management: You will establish and manage robust business relationships with both existing and potential top merchants. Apply to understand the needs of our partners and provide solutions that lead to profitable business growth.
  • Strategic Business Identification and Development: You will identify new business opportunities, devise and implement business development strategies that align with GrabMart's objectives. You will be expected to navigate the complexities of cross-functional teams and projects effectively.
  • Negotiation and Partnership Management: You will lead all aspects of partner negotiations for account management. Execute key initiatives and ensure all contractual obligations are met to the highest standard.
  • Delivery and Revenue Growth: You will drive growth in key accounts, targeting deliverables, Gross Merchandise Value (GMV), and revenue. Your success will be measured by your ability to increase these key performance metrics.
  • Collaboration and Synergy: You will build deeper relationships with partners by collaborating in other areas such as GrabPay, GrabAds, and GrabExpress. You will be expected to identify synergetic opportunities which could benefit both Grab and our partners in the long run.
