1. Manage,monitor and regulate TVET Centers under Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran (JPK), ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
2. Provide mentoring and oversight for the overall academic and administrative operations of the college, ensuring the seamless delivery of educational programs.
3. Propose and develop new programs, stating at the forefront of educational trends and industry needs.
4. Serve as the primary liaison between JPK and CIAST, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
5. Assume responsibility for compliance with JPK’s conditions, rules and instructions related to Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) programs.
6. Ensure compliance with PTPK’s conditions, rules and instructions related to students loans, assisting students in accesing financial support.
7. Maintain up-to-date programs by ensuring they align with the latest National Occupational Skills Standards (NOSS) format.
8. Lead, guide, coach and inspire academic, marketing, and administrative support staff, fostering a culture of creativity, professionalism, and skill excellence to deliver the highest standards.
9. Conduct market surveys and research to gather competitive intelligence and industry insights to stay ahead in the TVET industry.
10. Monitor and facilitate student internships and job placements, enhancing students’ career prospects and ensuring a well-rounded educational experience.
11. Monitoring Profit & Loss report with Finance Department.
12. Chair academic and operation meeting.
13. Ability to conduct market/industry needs, create new courses and levels to satisfy those needs
14. Lead and work with different teams to ensure all the business and marketing plans run smoothly.
15. Developing key performance goals and managing the performance of staff
16. Set policies and processes.
17. Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally.
18. Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance.
19. Direct the employee assessment process.
20. Prepare regular reports for upper management (Managing Director).
21. Execute different business strategies to support company growth and business expansion.
22. Developing new solutions to meet client needs.
23. Provide solutions to issues (e.g., profit decline, employee conflicts, operation conflict)
