Job Scope:
• Responsible for the maintenance and operation of all aspects of farm & processing operations including that of the M&E system within the whole perimeter of the Agroto operations in Kinta Highlands.
• To ensure that the electrical system is maintained effectively and in compliance with the Energy Commission requirements.
• Liaise with utility providers such as TNB, JKKP and other regulatory bodies on utility services and compliance matters.
• Monitor the daily, weekly and monthly checklists/ reports as required by regulatory bodies and Agroto management.
• Provide technical knowledge and skills in maintaining the HV/LV power transformers; LV main switchboard and standby generators in good running condition. Propose suggestions and provide feedback to the Head of Maintenance or senior management on matters pertaining to the operations and enhancement of the current systems in the farm.
• To ensure that substation equipment installations are executed in such a manner that meets the quality specified as well as safety and health requirements.
• Plan and carryout plant maintenance works or improvement.
• Carry out any other work to ensure the high performance of all equipment used within the Agroto perimeter.
Requirements:
• Must possess a Chargeman A4 Certificate issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in a relevant industry.
• Familiar with the Electricity Supply Act, electricity regulations, etc.
• Able to work a on-call basis whenever necessary
• Reasonable command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
• A mature and positive attitude with a high level of integrity and responsibility.
• Troubleshooting skills especially in machineries and plant facilities.
• Willing to work on-site at the Agroto farm in Kinta Highlands.
