Responsibilities

• Assist Agency Manager to monitor and follow up emails regarding berthing plan and their cargo can be either loaded or discharged. They will include the calculation of the number of port operatives requires to load and unload in a safe and timely manner;
• Assist Agency Manager on vessel’s purchasing and as required by vessel;
• Assist Agency Manager on preparing vessel’s Mate Receipt and Statement of Facts;
• Closely follow up with the Tally gang and update the daily load/discharge cargoes to Agency Manager;
• Responsible for the on-time, safe, effective and efficient load -unload of cargo from vessel and vessel’s clearance;
• Attending and resolving any problems, requests and issues raised by vessel’s Master or Officers;
• Prepare quotations and proforma disbursements as required by clients, shipowners and shipping lines;
• Process all formalities and declarations in a timely manner to ensure smooth entry or departure of ships assigned;
• Able to handle crew change, good coordination on owners matters independently;
• Any ad hoc task as given.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in any field;
• Minimum 2-3 years working experience as Boarding Officer;
• Possess Custom/Shipping Agent Certificate;
• Possess own transport with valid driving license;
• Able to handle MS Office.
