1. Responsible to recommend & implement policies and procedures to ensure
compliance to ESH legal requirements including customer and company’s
requirements.
2. To advise the ESH committees related environmental, safety & health matters.
3. To communicate and liaison with relevant authorities.
4. To review and ensure the updated regulations by the authority are implemented.
5. To participate / lead the project team and staff to identify hazards, environmental
aspects and the associated legal requirements.
6. To consult and encourage participation of workers and subcontractors for the
feedback related to hazards and environmental aspects.
7. To carry out incident investigation and reporting to the relevant authority and
management to initiate corrective and preventive actions.
8. To stop work for high potential risk or significant environmental aspects.
9. To comply with any instruction or measure on occupational safety and health by the
Project Manager identify and understand the ESH Policy & Objective at work place.
10. Ensuring that the way work is done in safe and does not affect others.
11. Complying with the laws, regulations of ESH at work place.
