Job Description:
- Driving and Transportation:
· Safely driving a lorry to transport goods between locations.
· Route planning with superior and meeting customers’ delivery schedules.
· Plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivery.
· Ensure timely delivery of goods while obeying road safety laws and regulations.
· To perform any instructions/works given by superior, including other general works where neccessaries.
- Cargo Handling:
· Secure and inspect loads to ensure they are properly stowed.
· Assist with loading and unloading goods, as necessary.
· Check delivery notes and invoices to ensure the accuracy of orders.
· Take extra care when handling fragile, hazardous, or temperature-sensitive goods. Ensure these items are securely packed and transported under the required conditions.
- Vehicle Maintenance:
· Perform routine checks on the lorry, such as tire pressure, fuel levels, and mechanical parts.
· Schedule and report regular maintenance, repairs, or inspections as required.
· Keep the lorry clean and in roadworthy condition.
- Safety and Compliance:
· Adhere to road safety regulations and company policies at all times.
· Comply with traffic laws, including speed limits and other related regulations.
· Ensure compliance with weight limits, cargo securement, and other transport regulations.
- Documentation and Reporting:
· Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle checks.
· Report any accidents, delays, or mechanical issues promptly to superior.
· Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery confirmations and ensuring the required documents are stamped, signed and returned back to office.
· Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, including receipts, DO and invoices.
- Customer Service:
· Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner.
· Handle any customer concerns or issues regarding delivery with professionalism.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid Malaysia Vocational License (GDL) Class D for operating heavy goods vehicles/lorry.
- Proven at least one year experience as a lorry driver (Klang Valley preferred).
- Possesses knowledge of traffic laws and road safety regulations.
- Possesses at least a SPM certificate. Higher education level is an added advantage.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Candidates with forklift driving skills is an added advantage for this position.
- Ability to communicate clearly and politely with superior, management and customers.
- Ability to speak and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to work independently with good time-management skills.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
- Proficient in using routing apps such as Waze and Google Map.
- NO criminal records and clean driving records.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (Physically and mentally fit).
- Prolonged periods of driving.
- Occasional manual labor, including loading and unloading cargo.

Working Hours:
Full-time Position
Monday to Friday: 8.30am – 6.00pm
Weekdays Paid Overtime: Until 7.00pm (If required)
Saturday: 8.30am – 2.30pm
Saturday Paid Overtime: Until 3.30pm (If required)
Expected base salary: RM1,800 – RM2,500 per month (Excluding Overtime Pay)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
