Adecco’s Banking & Financial Services Team is recruiting on behalf of a FinTech Co, for the position of Strategy Manager, where will play a pivotal role in guiding the company’s strategic initiatives in the leasing & hire purchase sector.

You will work closely with leadership to identify opportunities for growth, improve the customer experience, and refine the product offering. This position requires a blend of analytical thinking, market insight, and hands-on problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute long-term strategies to drive market share and profitability within the hire purchase sector.
  • Market Research: Analyze industry trends, customer behavior, and competitor strategies to identify new opportunities for expansion.
  • Investor Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for existing and potential investors, preparing updates, reports, and presentations that outline the company’s growth strategy, financial performance, and operational developments.
  • Business Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop partnerships and new products that enhance customer offerings and fuel business growth.
  • Financial Analysis: Assess financial performance, including revenue growth, profitability, and cost management, to guide decision-making.
  • Customer Insights: Leverage data analytics to understand customer preferences and improve the user experience.
  • Operational Efficiency: Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and enhance service delivery.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including investors, partners, and leadership teams.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the business operates in compliance with relevant regulations in the hire purchase and fintech sectors.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: 5-10+ years of experience in a strategy, consulting, or business development role, ideally within the financial services industry. Experience with hire purchase, consumer finance, or similar products is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Innovation: Demonstrated experience in identifying market trends and translating them into innovative solutions.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to think strategically and execute effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technology Savvy: Familiarity with digital products, data analytics tools, and emerging fintech trends.
