  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

DOO you have what it takes?

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Infrastructure Operations to lead and manage our global infrastructure initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in private cloud solutions, cloud-native technologies, and network virtualization, with the ability to drive robust, reliable, and scalable infrastructure solutions.

What you’ll be working on:

Infrastructure Management:

  • Oversee the planning, development, and management of the company’s infrastructure resources, encompassing both private and public cloud solutions.
  • Primarily focus on managing private cloud solutions as the Cloud Department leads these efforts, ensuring comprehensive team involvement.
  • Serve as a technical manager, providing technical solutions and guiding the team to deliver high-quality services to internal departments.

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure high-quality infrastructure services.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements for robust and scalable cloud-native infrastructure.

Vendor and Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as the primary contact with external service providers, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
  • Manage service level agreements (SLAs) with vendors.

Budget/Cost Management:

  • Develop and manage the infrastructure budget.
  • Conduct routine reviews to ensure efficient use of resources and prevent over or under-utilization by business units.

Team Leadership:

  • Build and lead a team of infrastructure professionals.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance management to achieve departmental goals.

Resource Allocation:

  • Ensure efficient and timely allocation of infrastructure resources to internal departments.
  • Implement processes to streamline requests and improve service delivery.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years in infrastructure management, with a strong focus on private cloud solutions and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, OpenStack, PVE, Xen).
  • Extensive experience in cloud-native infrastructure, including technologies such as Kubernetes and Istio.
  • Experience in network virtualization, particularly with VMware NSX-T and OpenStack Neutron.
  • Preferably experienced in building global infrastructure (e.g., global message queue systems and SD WAN platforms).
  • Strong understanding of data center infrastructure and network/storage equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment where business requirements evolve quickly and require agile responses.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken Mandarin and English for communication across cross-functional and regional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility to travel for business trips as required.
