Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled multimedia specialist to conceptualize, edit, and produce high-quality video content, as well as create engaging graphic designs to support our marketing and branding efforts. The ideal candidate should be proficient in video editing software, possess a keen eye for design aesthetics, and have a passion for storytelling through visual mediums.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and execute video projects from start to finish, including ideation, storyboarding, filming, editing, and post-production.
- Edit raw footage to produce visually appealing and engaging videos that align with the company's brand identity and objectives.
- Capture live footage and interviews during events, conferences, and other occasions to create engaging event highlight videos, promotional videos, and post-event recaps.
- Incorporate graphics, animations, and special effects to enhance video content and maintain viewer engagement.
- Create custom graphic designs for various digital platforms, including social media posts, website banners, email newsletters, and marketing materials.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing, motion graphics, and graphic design to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of our visual content.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and creativity.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, feedback, and revisions.
- Assist Marketing Team with Ad-hoc tasks.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Video Editor and Graphic Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your video editing and graphic design skills.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Advanced skills in graphic design software, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
- Solid understanding of video production techniques, including camera operation, lighting, sound recording, and editing.
- Creative flair and attention to detail, with a strong sense of composition, typography, and color theory.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and feedback to team members and product owners.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Bachelor's degree in film production, Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, or a related field is preferred.
- Additional certifications or training in video editing, motion graphics, or graphic design is a plus.
- Ability to understand Mandarin/Cantonese is a plus.
