Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial
report to management and the board of directors. - Develop budgets and forecasts, and provide suggestions or solutions to guide the organization in the right direction.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and objectives.
- Provides leadership, coaching, and development to team members.
- Liaise with external parties, including auditors, tax agents, bankers, lawyers, company secretaries, and etc.
- To develop an implementation of Standard Operation Procedure (SOP) for the finance and accounting documentation/records workflow within the department, with other units/departments, and with relevant external parties to ensure efficiency in work.
- Daily accounting activities and transactions – Invoice, payment voucher, petty cash reimbursement, staff claims, bank reconciliation
- Responsible for preparing budget and projections, journal entries, processing and posting of accounting entries
- Responsible in salary & commission computation
- Assist with other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by superior / HOD
Job Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; ACCA or CPA preferred.
- At least 5 to 7 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required.
- Preferably at least 3 years of audit experiences or supervisory experiences (lead role).
- Experience in finance within the trading or manufacturing industry are preferred.
- Excellent analytical, people, problem solving, troubleshooting, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Solid accounting & internal control skills & tax knowledge.
- Well versed in computerised accounting systems; having experience in Excel & SQL Accounting systems will have an added advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
