Key Responsibilities:
- To plan, organise and deliver appropriate learning that promotes the Joy of Learning and guides and encourages students to fulfil their potential.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- plan, prepare and deliver learning activities that facilitate engaging experiences and
- rigorous learning.
- establish and communicate clear objectives and success criteria for all learning
- activities.
- prepare classrooms and learning spaces for class activities.
- provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities.
- identify and select different resources and methods to meet students' varying needs.

- observe and evaluate student's performance and development.
- assign and assess class work, homework, tests and assignments.
- provide appropriate and timely feedback to students on work.

- maintain discipline in accordance with the disciplinary systems of the school.
- contribute to the development of schemes of work.
- conform to school policies and procedures.
- perform certain duties as requested.
- participate in the Co curricular activities programme and support school events.
- participate in department and school meetings, parent meetings.
- communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues and parents
- regarding student progress and student needs JD for teachers 2023.
- keep updated with developments in subject areas, teaching resources and methods
- and make relevant changes to instructional plans and activities.
- participate in own professional learning to enrich own practice and contributing to the
- professional learning of others.
- to model the school Guiding Principles, be an ambassador for CHIS ensure all
- communication in and outside of school reflects positively the reputation of CHIS.
Education and Experience:
- minimum Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and in a specialist subject
- according to teaching expectations.
- possess a professional teaching qualification from their host country.
- relevant teaching experience.
- knowledge of relevant technology to enhance teaching and own administration.
