Role Description:

We are looking for a Public Relations & Communications Manager / Assistant Manager to oversee our brand’s public and media relations globally across the various regions. You will work closely with stakeholders across global and regional teams across multiple channels and in multiple languages and cultures.

1. Public & Media Relations:

  • Manage & execute company’s public relations efforts, corporate communications, external publicity through editorials, events, market and media research.
  • Write, edit, and review all media content and press releases.
  • Strategize and translate brand and key messages into compelling stories and thought leadership pieces.
  • Identify external opportunities and platforms to strategically deploy publicity efforts.
  • Devise a plan to address unfavourable press coverage or misinformation.
  • Build and maintain a strong and harmonious relationship with global and regional key media in order to continuously improve and maximise the public relations' coverage/brand awareness.
  • Provide advice and briefs to teams meeting with a Mandarin-speaking target audience.
  • Support Company media management. Initiate, assist and oversee communication materials including but not limited to press releases, press kit, speeches, interviews, responses to customers/stakeholders, talking points and fact sheets.
  • Deliver relevant thought-leadership stories and insights to targeted audiences in financial, fintech industry.
  • Track, analyze, and influence the media trends on a global basis, including an in-depth understanding of the regional differences.
  • Keep up with media and audience opinions regularly. Proactively leverage news-making moments, milestones, and impacts to drive awareness and interest with target audiences, influencers and decision-makers.

2. Internal Communications:

  • Develop, implement, oversee and manage internal communications efforts.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to develop key messages to support an effective media engagement plans.

3. Editorial/Copywriting:

  • Review communication materials & translations including but not limited to text speeches, high level presentations/conference materials, CEO’s festive/corporate/ performance results messages, agency circulars, product marketing materials and customer letters/SMS.

4. Events:

  • Coordinate top management involvement and events in terms of producing speeches, reviewing visual aids/printed materials, logistics, media briefing, managing media invites etc., when required.

5. Corporate Publication:

  • Coordinate look & feel and CEO messaging in financial reports, boilerplate, awards announcements etc.

6. Special Projects:

  • To represent in company-level special projects and ad-hoc campaigns, if any.
  • Collaborate with other teams such as Global & Regional marketing and in-house designers to create promotional content.
  • Explore creative communications strategies to reach Mandarin-speaking customers and customers from China.
  • Prepare media monitoring updates, analysis and reporting on monthly, yearly, and as and when required.
  • Study Public Relations trends and use best practices. Regularly submit Public Relations' reports.
  • Plan annual corporate communication activities and budget plan.
  • Occasional travelling required.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in Marketing Strategy & Planning, Analytics, or a similar role.
  • Experience in fintech content is highly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of key drivers of business and marketing strategy (pipeline and revenue analytics, investment ratios, funnel-metrics, MarTech foundation)
  • Exceptional analytical skills, experience defining metrics, performance data analysis, identifying trends and measure impact.
  • Proven experience in building a holistic Marketing strategy and supporting execution within a high growth, global company.
