Qualifications & experience

  • At least Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Preferred minimum 5 years and above project management experience especially in plant M&E construction works.
  • Familiar with wastewater treatment installation.
  • Computer literate, knowledge and use of Microsoft Office applications, e.g. Ms. Word, Ms. Excel & Ms. Project. The use of MS Project for project scheduling is mandatory.
  • Able to use drafting software like AutoCAD will have added advantage.
  • Familiar and understand engineering documents e.g. M&E drawings, data & specifications sheets, etc.
  • Understanding in architectural, civil & structural will be advantageous.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, able to deal efficiently, coordinate and work with various parties like client, consultants, suppliers & contractors, etc.
  • Have a good understanding about cash flow/Possess certification in Project Management will have added advantage.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa and English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)/Able to communicate efficiently to project team and clients/Ready to travel and have valid passport.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing projects through the project lift cycle.
  • Co-ordinates with all parties involved with the project, e.g. Internal departments, clients, consultants, suppliers, contractors and sub-contractors, etc.
  • Manage all project activities to ensure compliance to the specifications, drawings, plans and schedules.
  • To attend to all technical matters and developing solutions to problems
  • Prepare and monitor the master program, develops and delivers progress reports.
  • In case of critical issues, to analyze and to plan for mitigation plan to reduce both cost and and time impacts.
  • Manage project risks, especially during the construction phase. To ensure the project insurances are in place to minimize cost and time impact due to unforeseen incidents.
  • To use the available resources effectively, avoid low efficiency and wastages.
  • To delegate tasks to project team members and monitor the task achievement.
