Job Description:

Overview: The Talent Management Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent within Alpha Solar. This role will focus on fostering a positive work environment, enhancing employee engagement, and supporting the company’s growth objectives by ensuring a high-performing workforce. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in talent management, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for renewable energy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition: Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Employee Development: Design and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth, including leadership development and succession planning.
  • Performance Management: Oversee the performance management process, including setting performance standards, conducting evaluations, and providing feedback and coaching to employees.
  • Employee Engagement: Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention, including employee surveys, recognition programs, and team-building activities.
  • Succession Planning: Identify and develop internal talent for key positions, ensuring a strong pipeline of future leaders.
  • HR Analytics: Utilize data and analytics to assess workforce trends, identify areas for improvement, and measure the effectiveness of talent management initiatives.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, company policies, and best practices in talent management.
  • Culture Building: Promote and sustain a positive and inclusive company culture aligned with Alpha Solar’s values and mission.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with department managers and senior leadership to align talent management strategies with business goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in talent management, human resources, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in recruiting, employee development, and performance management.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and labor laws in Malaysia.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and tools.
  • Passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
