Job Description (JD)

  • Conduct initiatives related to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and product rollout into production.

Testing specialists work with project managers, UAT professionals, and users to design and implement appropriate scripts/plans/reports for an application testing strategy/approach.

  • Conduct a variety of tests and analyses to ensure that systems meet or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to understand business and functional requirements to develop test plans, test cases, and scripts.
  • Identify defects and recommend appropriate course of action; perform root cause analyses.
  • Retest after fixes are made to ensure problems are resolved.
  • Document, evaluate, and research test results for future replication.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to enhance testing strategies.
  • Basic understanding of how own area integrates within IT/vendor testing to achieve objectives and convey test results.
  • Resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and guided by precedents.
  • Requires sound and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills to exchange complex information.
  • Maintain test data across different test environments.
  • Perform other duties and functions as assigned.

Key Skills / Knowledge:

  • At least 2 years of working experience in software quality assurance/software testing/Test Management.
  • Preferably with Transaction Banking and cash management knowledge.
  • Hands-on experience in the banking industry and project management preferred.
  • Experience in managing and executing UAT for BAU patches/enhancements/projects.
  • Detail-oriented, highly analytical, willing to learn, and committed.
  • Able to highlight and escalate issues that impact testing progress.
  • Understands interdependencies and effects on critical paths.
  • Self-starter, “can-do” attitude, customer-centric mindset, highly adaptable, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
