Business Event (MICE) Operation Executive

Company Overview

Established in 2013, Think Tank Productions Sdn. Bhd. specializes in both inbound and outbound Business Events (MICE), with a strong presence in the Asia Pacific region and occasional events in Europe and Africa. We are growing and are looking for motivated individuals to join our team and help deliver unique, high-quality business event experiences.

We are seeking a dedicated team member to support the Operations Manager in executing and coordinating business events.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute tasks as delegated by the Operation Manager, ensuring alignment with operational plans for business events.
• Assist in coordinating with the Project Management Team and external vendors to ensure timely, accurate, and highly-quality deliverables.
• Support the management of client relationships alongside the Operation Manager and Project Management Team throughout the event lifecycle.
• Assist in managing vendor relationships and coordinating logistics, setups, and event execution.
• Provide feedback and updates to the Project Manager regularly.

Required Qualifications and Experiences

• Minimum SPM or equivalent education.
• A diploma or degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, or related field is advantageous.
• At least 2 years of experience in the event industry, particularly in the MICE sector.
• Experience in event setup and overall event operations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and manage targeted deliverables.

Skills and Competencies

• Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking), with strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel for managing operational tasks.
• Familiarity with MacOS and MS Office; knowledge of SketchUp, CVENT, and CANVA is an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to address challenges quickly and effectively.

Working Hours and Environment

• Monday to Friday; 9:30 am to 6:30 pm.
• Occasional travel required for events, including cross-state and international trips.
