1.Listen to customers’ concerns, issues and questions by emails or phone calls.
2. Resolve customers’ concerns and answer customers’ questions to your best ability
3. Attract customers by promoting the product and company positively, answering questions and addressing concerns as they arise
4. Make recommendations regarding transportation, routing, carrier selection and assist to meet customer requirements.
5. Prepare shipping schedule and quotations to customers
6. Prepare and review invoices, BL, HBL, MBL for accuracy.
7. Assist with the communications with carriers when issue arise. Refer issues and questions to managers when necessary.
8. Keep customers informed by forwarding notices, shipment date and latest status.
9. Benchmark freight rates. Assist marketing team in negotiating rate structures rates with carriers. Present finding to Manager/ Management.
10. Freight forwarding and agency functions such as booking, issuing Invoices, Delivery Orders, etc
