Our client “⁠⁠Little Precious Postnatal Care" is seeking an Lactation Consultant to join their company!

What you’ll be doing?

  • Assist in reviewing and developing policies and guidelines for breastfeeding management.
  • Work in collaboration with nurses in assisting new mothers on breastfeeding.
  • Responsible for promoting breastfeeding management education.
  • Ensure client’s satisfaction in services provided.
  • Coordinate events to promote organisation’s maternity services.
  • Consults with and instructs new mothers in basic breast-feeding routines and techniques.
  • Develops, implements, and educates patients, families, and staff on proper breastfeeding techniques and lactation.
  • Provides support and problem solving to patients experiencing feeding difficulty with infants.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc assigned duties and tasks.

Who are they looking for?

  • Requires a valid license as a Registered Nurse or is typically certified by the International Board of Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC) or possess qualification in recognised lactation course
  • Requires minimal 1 year lactation consultancy experience
  • Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills, and able to handle customer’s complaint professional.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management skills.
  • Willing to work in shift, weekends and public holiday.
