Responsible for reporting to leader/manager and will oversee all aspects of event planning and management. The person in this role will help assist to create shopping mall events/exhibitions and execute campaigns while working across teams (arts, promotion and sales).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Increase shopping mall footfall and make sure the event was held successfully.

· Creating event proposals and presenting proposals by deadline.

· Discuss and planning together with the Art team visual and theme of each event.

· Implement all brand campaign, including advertisement, social media, and mall branding according to marketing direction and manage social media and ensure all information related with the event are up-to-date.

· Establish and maintain close relationship with associates, media, press and public, for example – hosting events and acquiring sponsorship, liaise with media or PR agencies for press releases, media write-up and advertisement buying.

· Promoting and branding shop lots within the shopping mall via Facebook Live.

· To make sure the venue area (Palm Square) during weekend is always book with event (in-house or promotion event).

· Planning event aspects, such as venue, seating, dining, layout, guest list, etc.

· Delegating event planning tasks to other staff members where necessary.

· Maintaining a working relationship with co-organizer/event partner/sponsor and vendors.

· Coordinating event entertainment, including music, performers and guest speakers.

· Budget Control - Staying under budget while planning event specifications, close account without delay (after event finish) and responsible in keeping cash safely.

· Creating comprehensive and readable post-event reports & financial reports and able to execute an event or marketing project according to budget given by the company.

· Managing and overseeing events on the day of, including problem solving, welcoming guests, directing event set-up, communicating with staff and organizing vendors.

· Planning multiple events at once and responsible in executing events and manage promotion event at the same time.

· Work over public holiday especially seasonal event and must standby during weekend if there’s ongoing event that needed to oversee.

· Reporting to leader/executive/manager from time to time.
